Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by a Great Explorers Safaris’ representative and transferred to your hotel, check in at Boma, your home for the night.

Lunch is on own account.

Depending on your flight, visit the botanical gardens and later enjoy a sunset cruise with drinks and snacks bar at extra cost. Overnight at the Boma.

Day 2: Fly to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, meet your Great Explores guide at the lobby and transfer to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Murchison Falls National Park.

On arrival at the local airstrip, you will be met and transferred to Chobe Lodge -After checking in, lunch you will have the afternoon to relax by the pool side, later enjoy an evening game drive around Chobe lodge.

Dinner will be served at honeymooner’s nest. Overnight at Chobe Safari Lodge

Day 3: Game drive and Boat cruise

After an early breakfast drive through of Murchison falls NP for an exclusive game drive with chances of seeing giraffes, elephants, lions, hartebeest and different species of birds.

Lunch will be served at Paraa Safari lodge, the safari will then be continued with a boat cruise on the river Nile for game viewing at close quarters. Upon reaching the bottom of the falls, at a distance you will have an opportunity to see where the calm Nile perfects its beauty - forcing its mighty self through a narrow 8-meter gorge to fall a distance of about 150 ft. in a thunderous roar of white water - absolutely incredible scenery! Dine and Overnight at Chobe Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Fly to Kidepo National Park
After breakfast, enjoy your very first morning nature walk in the African bush. You will enjoy the birdlife, butterflies, scenery and the panoramic views of the Nile. Have a relaxed time by the pool and later transfer to the airstrip for an afternoon flight to Kidepo Valley National Park. On arrival at Apoka airstrip you will be met and transferred to Apoka lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later enjoy an evening game drive in search of giraffes, ostriches, zebras, elephants and lions.

Day 5: Morning game drive and Afternoon Karamojong Community visit

A full day in one of the most beautiful and certainly most remote national parks in Uganda! Early morning you will explore the Narus River Valley by game drive. Go in search of giraffes, ostriches, zebras, elephants and lions. The park is also a birders paradise as it boasts a bird list with over 475 species. Have lunch and relax before going on a visit to one of the local Karamojong communities. The Karamojong tribe is well known for their unique nomadic lifestyle and rich traditions of storytelling.

Day 6: Morning Game drive and Fly to Entebbe

After breakfast, you will explore the Narus River Valley by game drive. Go in search of giraffes, ostriches, zebras, elephants and lions. The park is also a birders paradise as it boasts a bird list with over 475 species. Return to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Apoka airstrip for your scheduled flight to Entebbe. On arrival at Entebbe Airport, connect to your international departure flight.
